Licence

Folding Mirror is sold as a one-time purchase: pay once, keep it, not a subscription. One licence key may be used on 3 machines at a time, counted across macOS, Windows and Linux together, and the ordinary key covers commercial use — there is no separate business edition. When a 4th machine is activated, the least recently used one stops receiving updates; everything else about it keeps working.

Licence keys may not be resold, rented or redistributed, and the licence check may not be circumvented.

Updates

A purchase includes 12 months of updates from the date of purchase: every version released in that window, major releases included, may be installed. When the window closes the software does not expire — it stays on the last version you are entitled to. Renewing resumes new versions; not renewing takes nothing away from what you already have. Trial and refunds

Before buying you may use Folding Mirror in full for 14 days. When the trial ends the app becomes read-only; your files are untouched and remain readable and exportable. Within 30 days of a purchase you may request a full refund for any reason by writing to support@foldingmirror.app; resold keys are excluded.

Your content

What you write is yours. Folding Mirror is granted no licence to it, and could not act on one anyway — your documents never leave your disk.

AI features

Folding Mirror provides no model service; it sends your requests to the provider you configured. Usage, cost and content compliance are governed by your agreement with that provider.

Disclaimer

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Please keep your own backups — Folding Mirror has library-wide checkpoints built in, but they are not a substitute for an off-site backup.
